Hello Shani, tell us about yourself

Hi, I'm Shani. I'm your feminine body specialist, a certified sexuality coach, sex educator, and super fun SEXPERT. I am a co-owner of Hart’s Desires, a premiere erotic boutique for the sexually unleashed—or those who secretly want to be. But really, I am a sexual rule breaker. A relationship healer who reconnects couples in the bedroom and beyond. I am also a transformational teacher who is leading a revolution to empower women everywhere to take control of their orgasms—and their lives.

Why did you choose to be a sex therapist?

One of my favorite workshops to facilitate is my Couple's Intimacy class. After some of the workshops, I would have individual couples ask if I would assist them privately. That led me to seek out a sex coach training program so that I would be adequately prepared to coach couples with their sexual desires and goals. I know personally how fulfilling it is to have a healthy sex life with your partner. I also know how your sex life while trying to conceive can take a total nose dive. I chose to specialize in helping couples that have had issues TTC and it has been the most fulfilling thing I've ever done.

What are the most memorable moments of your work experience?

My most memorable moment ever has to be when I was hired to give an intimacy workshop for a church's marriage ministry. At first everyone was very quiet but before the night was over the questions, laughter, and candidness was more than I could have asked for.

Do you have any advice to us women?

My advice to women is to put your pleasure at a priority. So much of our days are often filled with being a good partner, wife, daughter, mother, employee, employer, and so on. Finding some time, every day to find a little pleasure is something you deserve.
