Talkshop is not a therapy group, but a group for support which is facilitated by a sex therapist/coach. Given the topics we are covering, it is possible you may feel triggered at some point during or after the sessions. Being triggered is a normal feeling and it could be a sign that you are opening up and exploring different aspects of yourself. However, these are some suggestions we have if you start feeling overwhelmed during the sessions:

• Take deep breaths and mute or turn the video off for a short period of time

• Reach out and communicate with your sex coach and/or sub-facilitator on how you are feeling

• If you feel you need to stop your involvement in the session you may do so. We would ask you to reach out to your sub-facilitator if this happens to you. This session will not be marked as an absence

If you have experienced sexual abuse or assault we encourage you to reach out to a therapist to begin the healing process. Please reach out to us if you would like to explore this and we would be happy to connect you with a therapist. There are also a number of sexual assault hotlines and we encourage you to explore them if you would prefer to speak to someone anonymously.

 

If at any point you feel you can’t continue with the coaching sessions due to emotional distress, please reach out to us and we will give you a 100% refund and connect you with our sex therapist for professional help. Remember your emotional and mental health come first.

Community Values

Here at xxTALK we are trying to build a supportive community for women, and we take our community values very seriously. When you enroll in the program you will be asked to follow the ground rules established in week 1 and uphold our community values:

 

• Honesty and Vulnerability: You are the expert of your experience. There is no shame -so be vulnerable, authentic, and honest! 

• Respect and Emphasize: Everyone’s experience is different. Please put no judgment on other’s experiences, listen, and support. You will be surprised at how much you will learn. Please be sure to maintain the privacy of others within and outside the sessions and online community

• Be present, be kind

 

In the case our community values are violated either in the talkshop and/or in the online community, you will receive a written or verbal warning from the facilitator or sub-facilitator. Depending on the gravity of the offense, at the second or third offense, we will have to exclude you from the program with no possibility of a refund. 

 

Age

Currently, we only provide this service to adults. Thus if you are under the age of 18 we cannot allow you to use our service. By accepting the terms of this user agreement/disclaimer, you undertake that you are an adult and at least 18 years of age.

 

Privacy Policy

xxTALK values its users' privacy. Our policy has been designed and created to ensure those affiliated with xxTalk of our commitment not only to meet but to exceed most existing privacy standards.

Please rest assured that this website will only collect personal information that you willingly and knowingly provide to us by ways of surveys, completed membership forms, and emails. It is the intent of this site to use personal information only for the purpose for which it was requested, and any additional uses specifically provided in this Policy.

• To better understand your needs and provide you with the services you have requested

• To fulfill our legitimate interest in improving our services and products
